Payments

Payment is due at the time of booking. If you do not have a credit or debit card to pay online, cash or Venmo payments are accepted. Payment must be made BEFORE your session.

I do NOT accept private insurance other than HealthChoice of Oklahoma. If needed, a super-bill can be provided upon request for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

If you have an FSA or HSA card, you can use that to pay for your copay or session fee as allowed by your insurance plan.

If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, please cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled session time. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full session rate.

How do I know if my insurance will reimburse me?

DETERMINE YOUR BENEFITS

Questions for your provider

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Can you tell me the call reference number and name of whom I’m speaking to?

  • Does my health insurance plan include “out of network” mental health benefits? If so, how much do they reimburse for mental health services?

  •  How do you define telehealth services? (What’s included, does it have to be a live video?)

  •  Is there a specific billing code that should be used?

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?

  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician for services to be covered?

  • Does the service require any special documentation from the counselor?

It is always the client’s responsibility to know and verify their benefits. The client is responsible for any services or fees that insurance doesn’t cover.

Please contact me with any other questions you have. I look forward to hearing from you!
